The Duke Cancer Center Raleigh is set to host Free to Breathe™, a 5K race and mile walk on Nov. 3, 2007, to benefit lung cancer research.
The morning event will kick off at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. The proceeds will go to the National Lung Cancer Partnership to fund research for more effective lung cancer treatments. Registration is $20 in advance and $25 on-site.
North Carolinians Against Lung Cancer is organizing the race, which is one of four such run/walk fundraisers taking place across the country this year.
