Duke LifePoint Healthcare
In 2011, LifePoint Healthcare, a national operator of community hospitals across the U.S., joined with Duke and formed Duke LifePoint Healthcare to provide healthcare organizations with clinical and operational resources and to connect our faculty with a large network of providers and communities. This partnership helps fulfill a major Duke Health priority – working with healthcare organizations to improve clinical quality and patient safety in communities locally, regionally and nationally.
Specialty Affiliations
Duke Network Services oversees a range of specialty affiliation options designed to enhance specialty-based clinical services, clinical research participation and educational opportunities in community-based hospitals to keep care local. Affiliation programs are tailored to meet hospitals’ unique needs and goals—and are developed after a collaborative assessment and planning process.
