A ceremony to sign the lease documents between the Duke University Health System and Durham County Hospital Corp. (DCHC) will be held Wednesday, July 1, in Durham Regional Hospital's auditorium. Community leaders and administrators will gather at 9 a.m. to officially mark the beginning of the partnership.

Representatives from the Durham County Commission, DCHC, Lincoln Community Health Center and Duke will sign the documents before an expected audience of more than 100 people, including employees, physicians and board members from the facilities and county commission.

A reception will follow the brief ceremony.
