Four Duke Health doctors use their love of auto racing to raise money for ALS. Dr. Matthew Ehrlich and his colleagues participated in the Racing for ALS high performance driving event at Virginia International Raceway in Virginia over the Independence Day weekend. The fundraising teams raised money from their departments as part of a friendly competition between neurology and pulmonology.

The Racing for ALS team also presented Duke ALS Clinic director, Dr. Richard Bedlack, with a check for the proceeds from a previous racing event. Racing for ALS events benefit a variety of ALS research organizations across the nation.
