Marilyn Moore's hospital stay has all the comforts of home - because it is home. As the first patient in the Duke Raleigh Acute Hospital Care at Home Program, Moore was able to receive hospital-level care from doctors and nurses who make daily house calls, while she maintains her daily routines. The program is designed to improve the patient experience and decrease the cost of care. 

The partnership includes caregivers from Duke Raleigh Hospital, the Duke Institute for Health Innovation and Duke HomeCare and Hospice.
