More than 200 patients and their families attended the second annual Duke Children's Prom on April 14, 2018, the party overflowing from the dance floor in the lobby of the Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center.

Patients enjoyed three hours of dancing and socializing with each other, as well as with 10 Duke student athletes from the football, women's soccer and men's basketball teams.

The space-themed event also included a photo booth and activity stations where participants could make flower headbands courtesy of Headbands of Hope and pocket solar systems courtesy of the Morehead Planetarium at UNC-Chapel Hill, among other activities.
