Watts School of Nursing

As the oldest nursing program in North Carolina, Watts School of Nursing has an established reputation for excellence in nursing education and for the accomplishments and recognized leadership of its alumni and faculty. In 1976, Watts Hospital combined with Lincoln Hospital to become Durham County General Hospital - now Duke Regional Hospital. Watts seeks to maintain a diverse student body that is motivated and committed to the practice of nursing.
